3. Web-Based Screening and Referral of Adolescents' Health-Related Social Problems

      The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends screening for major social determinants of health in primary care settings. However, little is known about the prevalence of health-related social problems (HRSPs) in adolescents nor how to effectively address these problems. The objectives of the study were to determine (1) the extent of adolescents' HRSPs; (2) the types of HRSPs selected for help; (3) the rate of adolescents' subsequent contact with social service agencies; and (4) the resolution of identified problems.
